Evian TG defender Jonathan Mensah has expressed his delight on ending a four-month ban slapped by FIFA.
The Ghana international was banned after he moved from Udinese in Italy to Evian in France at a time when he was still under contract with the Italians.
The 25-year-old old officially completed his suspension on Monday, having been banned for an illegality regarding his move from Udinese to Evian in 2011.
“I have not been playing games but I have to play my games in the gyms and on the training pitches but ultimately I am happy to be back playing again,” Mensah told TV3.
“I have been training very hard. I thank my family, everyone that helped me, my team as well. Fitness wise, I feel very okay.”
