There was a moment of joy for two of Ghanaian musicians who had lost their relevance in the scene. Reggy Zippy and Bollie are working very hard to resurface after their careers diminished. The two, who fused to form the group Menn on Poinnt, auditioned for the TV reality show, Britain’s Got Talent and made it to the second round. With judges Simon Cowell, Amanda, David and Alesha impressed with their performance, the two shared a their confirmation notice of their qualification into the second stage of the competition on Facebook on Saturday. They wrote: “Yeah We Represented Ourselves n Country On Britain’s Got Talent 2015. Big Dreams Don’t Come Easy. #HardworkNDetermination “
Reggy Zippy popularly known for his hit songs “Adoma” and “Virgin” and Bollie also known for “You May Kiss The Bride”. Though much has not been heard of the two who relocated to the UK with their families since the early 2000's, the duo Menn on Poinnt has released a couple of singles including “Turn It Up”, “Celebrate” which are doing well among the Ghanaian communities in the diaspora.
The group are anticipated to come back bigger and better since their exposure on the reality show has got people talking about them again.
