Blakk Rasta is a fake ‘rasta’ man – Shatta Wale

Dance hall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr commonly known as Shatta Wale has described the host of the ‘Taxi Driver’ show on Hitz FM, Blakk Rasta as a ‘false’ Rastafarian .

His remarks is in reaction to comments by the international reggae artiste, Luciano on the ‘Taxi Driver’ show that dancehall artistes do not have a future and would out of the way over time.

In an interview on Showbiz Review on Hitz FM, the  artiste stated that he once heard Blakk Rasta who is known in real life as Abubakar Ahmed talking about ensuring that dancehall music dies in Ghana.

However, the ‘megye wo girl’ hit maker has tagged Blakk Rasta as a ‘forged and unreal Rastafarian’ who has allowed another man from a different country to destroy the dancehall music in Ghana.

“Blakk Rasta is not a real person, people like him are fake Rasta men”, he stated.

According to him, their comment is a means of deterring other artistes from making money from the music genre.

“You can’t stop your brother from eating when you want to eat…,” he exclaimed.

Blakk Rasta when contacted refused to speak on the issue.
